Hi

Just to confirm, which step is it failing at, and was your old iPhone on an eSIM or a physical SIM? A snapshot of the error would help, hide any personal info before posting.

Apple's own eSIM Quick Transfer between two iPhones tends to just end up telling you to contact Koodo, so I would do it in Self Serve instead, Mobile Services » Manage your SIM card or eSIM » Transfer my eSIM to a newer device. Koodo sends a verification code to your number or the email on your account. The iPhone side is covered here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/esim-on-apple

If the code never arrives or it fails there too, a Koodo store can do the transfer for you, bring valid ID.

Are you transferring from an old iPhone to the new one or are you transferring from an android device? An eSIM will transfer from an old iPhone during the transfer process to a new one but not from android to iPhone, you will need to retrieve the eSIM profile through Koodo self-serve and input the new device IMEI number when prompted. This will then send the eSIM profile to the new device.

Note, you will need to progress through the setup process of the new iPhone first in order to accept the eSIM profile. You will be able to complete the setup without a sim / plan tied to the device. This is also a good alternative if the regular eSIM transfer methods don’t work. More details can be found here: eSIMs on Apple iPhones & iPads | Koodo Mobile
