I keep getting this error popping up. Any ideas on how to fix it. Google comes up with nothing and when I click on anything, it just closes the window.

I've already restarted the phone, clear system cache and repair apps.

res/layout/autofill_inline_suggestion.xml keeps stopping

Is this an autofill issue with Samsung keyboard?

In what app is this error appearing?

Omitting the “keeps stopping” portion and searching for res/layout/autofill_inline_suggestion.xml turns up some interesting search results but nothing in the way of a definitive answer. You may have better luck posting your question on Stack Overflow.

If you try switching to the samsung keyboard does that solve your issue?

This seems like a recurring issue for some Samsung users. Have you tried these steps?

  1. Install GBoard.
  2. Make it the default keyboard.

If it doesn’t work, try the following:

  1. Before installing GBoard, go to Settings, then Apps.
  2. Tap the 3-line menu on the "Your Apps" line , then choose Show System Apps.
  3. Click OK.
  4. Scroll to "Samsung Keyboard" and tap it.
  5. Tap Force Stop, then Storage Clear Cache and then exit out of Settings.

If still no luck in getting GBoard or Samsung Keyboard to work, submit an error report after replicating the issue.

To send a report from your phone, tap the Samsung Members app > Get help > Send feedback > Error reports.
