Can you hang up on a conference call you started without disconnecting the other people on the call? I tried to Google the answer and the best I got was “it depends on your provider.”

Can you hang up on a conference call you started without disconnecting the other people on the call? I tried to Google the answer and the best I got was “it depends on your provider.”
I believe the call will end and everyone else is disconnected.
I always thought it didn’t end the call, but I’ve never tried it out.
