Since 1 week i am struggling with my internet datas.

I did turn off and on my phone.

I changed my sim card in case.

My phone works well with other sim cards, and my sim card works in other peoples phone.

I have been at Koodo for 6 years and never had problems. I have been leaving in the yukon since 2021 and never had issue with koodo datas and this phone.

My plans is ok , i pay every month and no issu on this side.

I did check the APN, everything is correct.

i can receive whatsapp call and messages. I can receive SMS and messenger simple text messages.

I can not use video call, can not watch any videos neither photos. Google search is not working. I can not receive mms. Can not go on Youtube neither use google map. Do not have access to my emails.

Super frustrating and no one could help me so far (even Koodo people)

Hope you can help.

Thanks

Hi @Mel.R

Sorry to see you are having issues with accessing mobile data.

We do see very little usage in the last 3 days.

Just to confirm, you said you can make Whatsapp calls.

Are you also connected to wifi at the same time?

What type of phone are you using?

There is little usage because I can not use it unfortunately.

I have to be on WIFI to be able to use internet.

I don't have any worries for normal phone calls.

Using my phone (datas) without Wifi:

  • My parents called me last sunday through whatsapp. I could answer without the video and we could talk no worries (without video).
  • Just called my partner in whatsapp video call to try. It seems working even with the video. Same with messenger.
  • Google doesnt work, Youtube doesnt work.

I am using a Unihertz phone but had no problem so far. Sim card and phone have been working very well together for more than 1 year.

Thanks for the info!

Was there any change made to the phone recently, such as a software update?

Is the network mode on 4G at the moment? If yes, have you tried switching to 3G and then back to 4G?

Yesssss!!! Thanks Flo!!!!

I switched 4G to 3G, and back in 4G and it solved the problem!!!!
