Do I need a cable from the wall to connect to the router in order for the wifi to work?

Hi there,

Not for the router but you do need to plug in your included coaxial cable from the coaxial outlet in your home to your Koodo internet modem. To setup the equipment properly, you can follow the steps in the link. For the router, you just require power to the equipment and an Ethernet cable to be connected from the modem to the router. The modem receives the internet connection from the coaxial port and provides it to the router via the Ethernet cable. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/setup/internet

If you cannot find the coaxial outlet in your home, you can follow the steps included below to locate it. If you still don’t have one after checking, then you need to schedule a technician visit through Koodo assist.
