I moved into a condo in 2022 and have had nothing but problems since. Calls are dropped, some before I even answer them and some in the middle, and texts take forever if they go through at all. I'm assuming the building is part of the issue? Most days I'm lucky to even have one bar of coverage
It appears you wasn't residing in an area that had good cellular coverage.
Which phone are you using? Can you try to enable WiFi calling? https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/wifi-calling
Hi Gaye,
I’ve had TELUS before and had issues like this in my past apartment, even though the coverage should’ve been 5G. Unfortunately some areas just have issues like that and I do recommend enabling WiFi calling if possible. I’ve found that enabling it does help with call quality and stability.
Also, the one aspect to keep in mind is to understand how the condo is built. If it is using a wood frame versus concrete frame. This article explains how different materials can affect interference: https://www.wilsonpro.com/blog/how-building-materials-affect-cell-phone-signal-booster-performance
Hopefully this helps with some of the issues.
