Can't disable voicemail

Hi

I have followed the steps to deactivate voicemail. But callers can still leave me voicemail.

Can voicemail actually be disabled? How?

Hi ​@JPV, we can deactivate the voicemail for you. If you’d like that, please log out of the Community and log back in, using your Self Serve account credentials as shown in the picture below. We will gladly check for you but we cannot access your account without authentication.

I can flag a rep if you like to entirely remove voicemail from your line. It would require the assistance of a rep to re-add should you want it again.

When I follow the steps (login using koodo self serve) it redirects me to the self serve log in, and away from the community. When I try to return to the community (>>go to » community) I am not logged in there.

Tried another browser. Same problem. Could it have something to do with the fact that I am on prepaid, and not monthly contract?

Why can’t I just chat with an actual agent on Koodo Assist? Why must I use social media?

Since you are on prepaid, if the link about to disable your voicemail is not working then you will need to request a callback via koodo assist

So when it redirects you, did you enter your login credentials before going back? It is normal to redirect you to self-serve for entering your login credentials. It should then automatically redirect you back.

 

Koodo Assist isn’t setup for live agent support. Social media is also a common way corporations use for communication with customers. You can use a bare basic social media account strictly for the purposes of contacting Koodo, or you can schedule a callback.

 

Edit: Yes you’re right, prepaid is the reason, and it’ll need a callback scheduled.
