I’ in Dominican Republic, on vacation

I have VOIP service at home in Canada, which I can acess via WiFi.

However, when I call my number and dial “1” when I hear my message, I’m asked for a “callback number”.

I don’t want someone to call me back!

I just want to access my voicemail!

What should I do???

thanks

You hear your message, and then youre asked for a callback number? Did you try pressing * while your message is playing?

Ahhhh!  It’s “*”!

Ok.  That works for me.

Thank you much!

I cant access landline voice mail. when I push one to get messages like I allways do, I am asked for code # .

I had the same issue when I first went to koodo home phone It took days to get it resolved to using the simple task of only pushing one (1) fix this for me???????

Did you try pressing “asterisk” (*) instead of “one” (1)?

Some VoIP apps use “press 1 to connect” as a filter against robocalls and telemarkers. Placing a call from outside Canada or the US may trigger your call as suspicious. Check your VoIP provider preferences to make sure that calls made outside country code +1 (Canada and the US) are authorized.
