Hi, Darren and I both use Android phones. When he texts me from work, about an hour from home, I don’t receive his messages until he gets home and his phone reconnects to our Wi-Fi. Then the delayed messages come through.
Could you help us figure out why this is happening and what settings to check so we can both send and receive texts while he’s at work?

Based on the details you shared, it may be that Darren is sending the messages as RCS messages, which require data/ wifi to go through.
Just to confirm, is mobile data/ wifi turned off in Darren’s phone when he tries to send the texts?
