I have two phones on my plan. When checking usage only one phone is showing text activity even though it has been used. Not using messenger. Can this be turned off or why would this happen?

Just regular text, this phone doesn’t have facebook or any other texting apps.
I assume you are using an iPhone? I am not asking about facebook or other texting app though.
iMessage and RCS is currently incorporated in the normal messaging app of the phone and using the default messaging app? what is the color of the text in the messing app?. https://support.apple.com/en-ca/104972

We do see there are a few message on one line and one on the other line, for the current billing cycle.
If there are more messages on your phone, they might be counted as RCS/iMessages, which use mobile data or wifi to send: https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/rcs-messaging
No these are just regular text messages on both phones. I guess I’ll just wait and see for a while. Thank you!

+4No the only message that shows on the one phone was the activation message.
