Switch from Bell shared plan to Koodo and keep both numbers

My husband and I are on a shared plan with Bell and I am the account holder. We would both like to switch to Koodo and keep our numbers. Will there be any issues with this given that it is a shared plan? I am assuming we would each create our own accounts with Koodo, but will my husband have any issues porting his number over from Bell given that I am the account holder there?

No issues with it being a shared account. Multiple lines can be on the same account. If it’s a share data plan, it doesn’t change that it’s two separate lines. 

There’ll be no issues, although you might get the port confirmation text. You can port over on the same account but not online, in order to combat potential fraud instances. If you have no issues with having two separate accounts, you can just transfer. But later if you wish to merge accounts, I think it costs something, but I don’t recall well. Transfer of Ownership costs money but I’m not sure if it counts to merge.
