No calls come through. Reset phone already. Always had poor signal strength now just one bar and no calls. What am I paying for?

You say that you have always had poor signal strength. What's the location where you mainly use your phone? Does the strength get better at different locations (particularly locations closer to a tower). One bar does indicate low signal strength, possibly low enough that you will not receive calls. I live in a similar area and use WiFi calling when at home.
