Koodo Assist was dumber way to get help.

Koodo Assist was such a disappointment. My data ran out, I couldn't top up at all. I tried to call customer support but it kept sending me back to the useless Koodo Assist. After wasting a hour trying Koodo Assist, I then had to drive across town to a Koodo store. The person at the store said my plan no longer existed and I would have to go on another Koodo plan for more money to acquire more data!! She fixed me up in about 10 minutes. So 2 hours wasted dealing with this data issue that I couldn't fix using Koodo's assist.

Thinking about changing my carrier. The one time I needed help from Koodo, you and your Assist let me down. Do better Koodo!!!!

Sorry to hear that your customer experience was less than ideal.

If you are currently on a postpaid plan, you can send a text message to 5337 with keyword 17YES to add a data top-up of 500MB for $21 and 25YES to add a data top-up of 1GB for $29.

For a prepaid plan, you can log in to your Self-Serve account and purchase a 3GB data add-on for $15. It will be expire 30 days after the date of purchase. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/prepaid-plans

Should you have any other questions, you can feel free to reply to this post and we can assist you further.

What do you mean by "My data ran out, I couldn't top up at all."?

How the store rep fixed your issue? Did you change your plan? Or you bought an add-on data?

I was just wondering what the phone rep actually did to fix your issue. If you don’t mind sharing…

Did they change your plan or add data — and was it with or without charge?

I’m asking because it might help others in the community who run into the same problem and want to know what options might work.

I understand your focus was “Koodo Assist was dumber way to get help.” I agree Koodo Assist could do better...
