Just to double check, wifi calling wasn’t previusly set up on your phone? The initial set up would require network coverage, to be able to receive the verification code, more info can be found here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/wifi-calling

That phone is compatible with WiFi calling. However, as mentioned, you would need to find an area that you have access to Koodo cell signal to activate it
Since you do have internet access, yoh could get a free Fongo line to hold you over until you can get to a cell signal and set up wifi calling.
