How do I transfer an e-sim after losing my phone?

I lost my phone and the online chat-bot tells me to buy a new sim card, but I never had a physical card and the old phone I plan to use allows e-sims too. How do I set this up? I can not find a QR code with my e-sim on it anywhere in self-serve, and the e-sim help page assumes you can transfer off your other device which I don’t have.

Koodo no longer provides eSIM vouchers. You should be able to download and set it up on your Self-Serve account. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/esim-and-esim-vouchers

In Koodo self-serve it now offers an eSIM recovery tool as opposed to the eSIM QR codes if you lose or destroy your device. If you have a replacement device already and would like to recover your eSIM to the new phone, you can do so by following these steps:

login to koodo self serve and click the profile icon in the top right corner → From here, choose the “Mobile Services Tab” → Once selected,  scroll down and choose “Get help with SIM Cards and eSIMS”.

From that point, you will be presented four options, one of which is the eSIM recovery. From there, enter the EID of your new device and follow the prompts to the end. Koodo will then send your eSIM profile to the new device via a push notification. More info on this can be found here and selecting your device type:  https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/esim-and-esim-vouchers
