Also, I see a few of calls to the US connected earlier today. Albeit they are very short in duration.

I made several calls to one US number today. There was no reply and after about 12 seconds it would hang up. I first thought the location had a phone system problem. Then I tried another number in the US. It was the same...12 second silence then hang up.

Try resetting your network settings in your phone to see if that fixes the issue.
Something malfunctioned in the email above. The link you gave me does not work. It goes black also. I made several attempts to call the US today. The phone seemed to connect. Then there was about a 12 second silence and it would hang up. So I tried a second business number and again s 12 second hang up

No not airplane mode. You can do a reset to fa for settings for your network settings so that you can see if that fixes your us calling issues.

Did it work for you in the past? Was there any error message when you tried to call an US number?
Also, are you a prepaid or postpaid customer?
Worked in the past. Only message is.. may be long distance charges...then 13 seconds silence then hang up. I pay monthly. Is that post paid ????.
Just talked to Koodo. He had me try a variety of things...+ Before number...+1....001....01...+1. Nothing worked. Said he would call me back within 24 hours.

I can see that a ticket has been submitted for investigation, you should hear back from the agent as soon as there is an updated on this.
Yes thanks Flo. Yesterday I went thru many "try this try thats" and several calls with Koodo. The latest I heard was they now need to work with USA carriers to rectify the problem. Good thring I dont have any urgent need to call the USA. Thanks again
