eSIM Transfer Issue - Please help!

Hello,

I have been using an iPhone SE (2nd generation) and have recently purchased an iPhone 17. I am trying to transfer my current eSIM from my SE to my new iPhone, but I have not been able to complete the process.

First, I tried using Apple’s eSIM Quick Transfer between the two iPhones, but it eventually prompted me to contact Koodo for assistance.

Next, I tried using Self Serve. From there, I went to “Mobile Services” and clicked “Get help with SIM cards and eSIMs.” This led me to the “Manage your SIM card or eSIM” page, where I selected “Transfer my eSIM to a newer device.” I then chose “Transfer an eSIM from iOS to iOS or Android to Android,” but it only redirected me to a help page.

Before purchasing the phone, I visited a Koodo store and was told that I could transfer my eSIM through Self Serve in just a couple of minutes.

I have been trying to resolve this for a few hours now and would really appreciate your help!

Thank you very much.

Thank you for your replies. I selected “Transfer an eSIM from Android to iOS (or iOS to Android)” instead of “Transfer an eSIM from iOS to iOS or Android to Android,” and the transfer was completed successfully.

I’m not sure why I had to choose the Android to iOS option even though I was transferring from iPhone to iPhone, which was a bit confusing.

Thank you for your help.

Since you are having issues, I would suggest you to consider borrowing an iPhone from a close friend or family member to set up your eSIM. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/esim-and-esim-vouchers
