Easy Roam perk

I am paying for 2 lines & plans for my daughter and myself. I was told at a store that I can choose 3 days free roaming in the USA for both of us but could only find the perk on my account. Please advise how I can get this perk for her asap.

what plan does your daughter have, is it the same as yours? As not all plans are eligible for all perks. What Perks are currently showing for her line?

Unlimited Canada-wide

It is possible that your plan does not include that Perk. Let me flag a rep to confirm this for you and help you out.

This looks to be an older plan that is not eligible for the perk. Self-serve will only show you the perks that the plan is provisioned for. This depends on what was offered when you got the plan. For example, 5G speed boost isn’t a perk being offered on current plans, but the 3-Day Easy Roam is in its place.

Are you able to see if there are any cheaper / the same price plans available for that line to switch too? As there should be a few available but with more data. The available plans would be eligible for the perk as they’re currently in market. Changing your mobility rate plan | Koodo Mobile

Thank you. The rep we contacted at the store definitely said both of us should have that perk! 
We only need this the current free perk is unnecessary

You may likely need a newer plan to get the Perk, but it is better to wait for the rep to respond back to see if anything can be done without changing your plan.

It appears there is miscommunication or mistake somewhere. If the plan didn't have option for free 3 day easyroam, you can't add it. Have you tried to see if you can change the plan to something else in selfserve?

I’m currently in the USA. I can answer phone calls without getting charged (I already used my 3 days perk). We asked the rep at the store to do it but they said they can’t do it at the store and that I can do this for both of us using self serve… We travelled to the USA the next day… I really can’t deal with changing plans right now…

Can you please log out from your Koodo community account and log back in using the self serve option, so we can check the details from our end and confirm?

If the 3day perk is unavailable for the line and you can't deal with changing plans (totally understandable), I suggest adding the travel pass on that line instead. 

 

You can Text the code next to the desired pass to 7626:

  1. 3 days for $25 US3PASS
  2. 7 days for $40 US7PASS
  3. 14 days for $60 US14PASS​​
