Hey there i changed my kids phone number yesterday through the self serve and i can text that number and he replies to it from the old number. but my daughters changed fine?!

+4Did you enable RCS on that phone? If so, you will need to disable it (preferably on the old number) and reenable it with the new one. If the old number is no longer available for you, you may need to follow the steps as outlined here: https://messages.google.com/disable-chat
