call control wont let me unblock people or authorize people

to confirm, are you getting the error when you remove the friend’s number in your koodo self-serve from the blocked list and then attempt to add them to the whitelist? Also do you have space for your friend on the whitelist? As both the blocked and whitelists can only have 25 numbers each.

Not sure where to find either of these lists 

I see! The lists can be viewed and managed directly on your Koodo self-serve account. Once you login to your self-serve account, go to “Manage plan and add-ons”, then click “Call Control” and it should present you the “Manage” option.

From there, you will be able to see recent numbers that have called you in addition to being able to add and remove people from either your blocked caller list or your caller whitelist (authorized caller list).

If this does not work, you can also manage the last 3 numbers that called you directly on your phone if you call *99. It will give you the option to turn call control on, off, and to manage the last 3 numbers that called you to add them to either list. It won't let me I've tried and it keeps saying that number is already on your blocked list and yes I manually entered his number and clicked authorize  multiple times. Also with the *99 his number never came up and he just called me I was sitting right beside him and got him to call me

hmm ok. Instead of authorizing the number directly from the blocked caller list, does it allow you to just manually remove the number from the blocked list all together? If it does, you should then be able to manually enter the number into the whitelist instead of approving it from one list to the other. Let me know if this works or not.

How did you block them on call control then?

How did you try to authorize him?  What steps did you take?

If it is convenient and it is easy for you to reenter the authorized list, I recommend you disable call control and readd it. Hopefully that will help with the issue.
