Question

Can i transfer the contract terms of my second line to my first (out of contract)

I got a second line for my ex boyfriend (silly, I know). We broke up and he does not use the number however I signed a two-year contract (just over one year remaining). I no longer have a contract for my original line but have been using month-to-month services for a long time. Can I transfer the terms of his contract to mine? If so, can I keep my number?

Unfortunately you cannot easily transfer a tab from one number to another.

The only loophole around this would be to port your number to a cheap prepaid account, then port the number back to Koodo on his line with the tab.

It would cost $10 for the prepaid sim and $15 for the cheapest plan.

The contract is based on the phone tab.

Make sure you take the phone back from your ex or that he pays you back for that phone
