I am trying to get a refurbished phone on a tab for my son, but Koodo will not let us keep his existing plan. The only option is to pay full retail price or upgrade the plan. Is there a Koodo rep. that can help us with a happy middle-ground? He was able to have a tab for this account/plan before, so I'm not sure why there is now a limitation.

His plan is $25 talk and text (+ a few dollars for some data). He's just a high school kid, so barely needs it. Looking to get the refurbished iPhone 11.
+4Nowadays plans have to be at least $50 to qualify for a tab. An alternative is to buy from Apple or another 3rd party directly, or, if you have more lines, perhaps get the phone on a line with a suitable plan.
