ordered $25/m sale. why is my bill $45.20???

I flagged this issue weeks ago when I first signed up. People said, just wait until you receive your first bill — it will have a $10/m discount for two years, and a further $10/m discount for autopay.

So I have gone online and it STILL SAYS I owe $45.20. Please either issue a proper bill or cancel my service and this fraudulent billing.

When viewing the full PDF bill do you not see the bill credits applied? It’s possible that the balance is higher due to a partial monthly plan charge and taxes on top of this extra charge if this is the first bill. A higher first bill is normal because of this. Autopay and other credits can also take up to the next billing cycle to begin.

Can you check the PDF bill? and also, can you take a screenshot of the charges and post them here? Just make sure to blur out any personal info. If the credits are indeed missing, then I can flag a rep to investigate.

@Edison53

We have looked into it and we can see that the first bill is higher due to the first bill proration. The autopay discount and bill credit have been applied, feel free to download the bill in self serve as suggested by Oliver above.

More about the first bill proration can be found here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/your-koodo-bill-after-youve-activated-a-new-account-or-added-a-new-line

Then you have more info than I have.

I have been trying repeatedly for hours to see my bill online but the site will not allow it. I have tried using different browsers and nothing works. So all I have, I am afraid, is a web page saying “amount due”.

Have you tried accessing your self serve account in incognito mode on your browser?

Can you please share a screenshot of the issue? Please be sure to mask any personal information as this is a public forum.

Never occurred to me to use incognito mode but that helped, thanks. (To be clear, it did *not* work on Firefox — the cloud flare security check kept looping back to the beginning) but it did work on Safari. So after several hours I was finally able to see the bill. Thank you. (If the web site is unreliable in delivering bills, maybe they should be emailed? Just a thought. )

It is typically pretty reliable in viewing bills. It’d be nice to have the option to get the bill emailed but it typically just works.
