I just got a new iPhone and it comes with a physical SIM. I also have a SIM in my old phone, and the first run includes a choice of moving the old SiM to an ESIM. Which one should I do for the least amount of friction?

The easiest would be just to take the SIM out of your old phone and put in in the new one… nothing else is involved in that case :)

Thanks! I already put the new SIM in the phone, but I’ll just replace it.
Right, you can keep the new one as a spare, in case something happens to the old one. You can also give it away to someone else, since it won’t have arrived activated.
