Is anyone else finding that the Mobile Klinik in Vancouver is scamming people with Koodo by lying to them about the price of a used phone that is so worn out that the battery lasts only a few hours and then suddenly get a nearly 500 dollar invoice for it??

Sure, they hide behind the fine print of their massive multi page contract that they verbally summarize in a manipulative way. So they are certainly nicely legally protected and I can't sue them and you can say that it's my fault for believing a liar salesperson. I mainly want to make sure that everyone knows to expect this shop to trick you into losing hundreds of dollars for their own personal profit and considering that I'm a homeless disabled person who has no money to spare and they are willing to pull this scam on me, CAVEAT EMPTOR everyone!!!
When did you get the phone?
The mobile klinik had a return policy
What did they tell you vs what does the contract say? How long has it been since you got it? You should be able to return it over the holiday period.

The liar said it was less than a hundred bucks and I didn't read the enormous dozen pages or so of fine print which he made sure I didn't get a copy of until I had already committed to it and I already sold off the garbage used phone anyway. The bill came for almost 500 bucks and these Mobile Klinik guys need to be put out of business for these unethical practices.

Could you post a snapshot where it showed $500 in your contract? hide all personal information before posting please.
As well, all phone typically had a return window period of 15 days, have you explored that option with them?
