Internet Cancellation

Why did I even call Koodo to wait, get transferred, wait again, get a verbal confirmation from the agent that they would cancel my internet, never get an actual cancellation, then wake up to an email to say the equipment I requested has been shipped? 

 

As a student, it's hard enough to find affordable and fast internet. It's even more frustrating to be a loyal customer to have to deal with this.

Hi there,

If the cancellation was put through but the equipment was already in the process of being shipped its likely the request did not reach their distribution dept in time. The equipment generally gets sent out quite quickly.

If the equipment does arrive, if the service was cancelled then you should have received an email outlining the cancellation and instructions to return the equipment.

If you did not, after you receive the equipment, you should schedule another call and the rep can organize the equipment return. Normally they would email you a return shipping label and then you take it to your closest Canada Post.

To add: Koodo internet has been struggling with cancellation. Not sure if the cancellation with the rep has actually been initiated. Let me flag a rep to follow up with your case.
