transfer/renew 365 day annual prepaid plan from telus welcome bonus did not apply

I was renewing my annual prepaid plan for the kids and it directly me from telus to koodo because telus will not be doing prepaid after July 1?  There was a bonus/promo code that would then change the $100 annual plan from 400min/400texts to unlimited min and texts for the 1 year. I went through the activation with a purchased physical sim.  But the plan is showing as 400/400 not unlimited. There is a section to add the promo code in the account, the promo code I took a screen capture of is also invalid.

 

Contacting a human or getting anything across the ai is pointless so far. Can a help rep fix this issue and apply the unlimited min/text promo to my plan? phone number ends in 4727

Unfortunately, the reps in the Community have limited assistance for prepaid plans.

Telus indeed is moving away from Prepaid. 
Regarding the prepaid account promotion. I assume you had access to your selfserve. Can you check the add-on section to see if they put any extra promotional minutes there?

In selfserve, no addons listed/added, section to add promo code doesnt accept the promo code. The plan just lists 400/400

Are you saying when you signed up you missed or did not see a promo code area?

Where did you purchase the physical sim?

I did another one, same prepaid $100/year, that setup let me choose a plan and enter promo code there. That one shows unlimited. The first line I did did not let me select a plan, just the 1 year 365day, it had a referral code but no promo code entry option.  I think the links are a bit messed up, same plan, same incoming url to start but different result.  So I will just need to have support add the unlimited promo to the first account I moved over/renewed,

The first one I did, didn’t have the promo entry, just referral, I was looking through it all for the promo entry area. The second line I did did have a plan selection and promo and referral prompts.

call back, service rep fixed it, they just added a unlimited call/text addon to the plan to do the same options as you would have with the telus to koodo annual promo.
