I ported my phone number from Public Mobile to Koodo Prepaid (I got a call back via chat and had an agent do it over the phone as I was told to) but when I look at the settings app in my phone under SIM or about phone it’s still showing the temporary number I was assigned before I ported my other number over.

Did you restart your phone after the port transfer? Are you able to use another phone to make a call to your number and see if it rings?
Yes I restarted. It receives calls and texts OK (not sure about outgoing caller ID). But I even tried a different phone and it shows the temp number still.
