I changed my prepaid phone number today to a new number (still prepaid). Restarted my iPhone immediately after updating my number. It’s been a couple hours and my new number is still not activated. I’ve tried restarting several times, even left it off for over 20 minutes, and not having luck. Has anyone encountered this issue? Please let me know how you resolved this. Thanks in advance!

Yes, that’s correct. This was the following message:
“Congratulations, you have
successfully changed your number!“
+4A number change can take a bit to fully propagate — the new number registering on the network sometimes lags a couple of hours, so it isn't unusual.
Since it's an iPhone, you can try to turn iMessage and FaceTime OFF, restart, then turn them back ON so they re-register under the new number.
