Did you buy a prepaid or postpaid SIM card? Also, if you bought a prepaid SIM, make sure you activate it in the correct webpage

You can't activate a postpaid SIM card yourself as postpaid service requires credit check. You would need a rep in store to do it (connection fee might apply) or buy a koodo plan online (no connection fee) and go through the process of credit check there.
