I would like to switch my number from Rogers to Koodo prepaid but phone and I in the U.S. for many months - I have the new SIM am I able to do it while outside Canada?

+4This is a guess on my part, but for security reasons, I would expect you need to be connected to the Koodo Network to set up an account on a new SIM.
+4As long as you have the right SIM and valid Cdn credentials, you can activate a Koodo prepaid account anywhere. Problem may be topping it up if you don’t have a Cdn credit card. Get thru that first.
Once you are up and running with a temporary number, there should be no problem porting over your Rogers #.
