why does easy roam say "active" in self serve section when airplane mode is on and data is off

I have not activated it and better not be charged for it

Are you referring to this section?
If so, it just means that Easy Roam is properly setup on your account to be used if you need/use it in the future.

    Where does it say active?

     

    When did you turn on airplane mode? And when did you leave Canada?
