(I tried to add this to my previous conversation but it’s closed for replies. )

While using the 14-day Europe Travel Pass if I see a message that “Easy Roam 18/day, and Travel Passes not available in the area."  should I ignore it and assume all is well if I am connected to a mobile network and I will not incur any additional roaming fees?

You shouldn’t be charged extra as long as the phone is connecting to network from a roaming partner, except for airplane, cruise ships or other satelite locations, which are not covered.

Thank you. So, I can just ignore the messages and as long as I’m connected to a local mobile network I will not be charged anything?

Can you share a screenshot of one of those messages that you got, if still possible?

What does “as long as the phone is connecting to network from a roaming partner” mean? Does one need to know which mobile provider is a “partner” (if more than one is available) or does the phone only connect to a “partner” automatically?

If your Network connection setting is set to Automatic it shouldnt matter.

Are these messages via text or is it a network system message?

Here are the screen shots. The first is what I saw when arriving in Spain together with the warning that Travel Passes were not available. The second is when I arrived in France. I’m wondering that the “Easy Roam and Travel Passes are not available” is referring to?

Thank you for all the help :-)

The France and Spain message looks correct and is as expected.

The 730pm  message looks concerning.  What city/area were you in at that time?

I think it was Barcelona. Anyway … everything is working now so I think we can close this conversation. Thanks again for your help :-)
