I’m going to the US for 3 days. May only need to use SMS. The pay-per-use rate is listed as $10 per 100 outgoing texts. Does this mean I pay $10 no matter what and can send up to 100 texts?
In other words, if I only sent two texts, do I still pay $10? If this is the case, Easy Roam is obviously the way to go.

Correct. You can think of it as the 1st text costs $10 and then you get 99 free.
If you're only going to send a few texts, go this way, otherwise easy roam at the $9-$11/day is the better bet.
Thanks - for some reason it got in my head that it would be $10 per day with up to 100 texts in that day. But makes sense that it would apply to the whole trip.
Also make sure that if you want to use PPU rates, you need to deactivate easy-roam.
