US 14 Day travel pass: will I be charged before activation?

I'm traveling to the US the 13th of July. I decided to add the travel pass to my account now (June 26) as it states it will only activate when triggered by US roaming. I'm just wondering if that still applies since the end of my billing cycle is July 6. The email I got after adding the pass was a bit confusing about that stating:

"After making changes to your plan or add-ons, your next bill will include the following charges: your regular monthly service, additional usage, a one-time partial/prorated charge and/or credit from June 26, 2026 to the end of your bill cycle on July 06, 2026. Please note: you may only have partial minutes and partial data until your bill cycle resets on July 06, 2026 at 11:59pm."

I know it's way ahead to add the pass but I'm moving in a couple days and anticipating chaos so I didn't want to forget about this before the trip.

It should not result in any issues with your bill. However, it should be noted that it will only remain active for 30 days from the activation date, so you may not be able to use it for entire duration of your trip. I would suggest you to add it closer to your departure date.

In the meantime, I have flagged a rep to assist you with the removal of the Easy Roam Travel Pass.

I believe you will only be charged when you actually use the Easy Roam Travel Pass.

Okay that's what I thought but didn't know if the billing cycle ending before I activate it would mess that up. Also, it expires a month after adding it (July 26) but I don't intend to activate it til July 13th and 2 weeks from there is July 27. Does that mean I'll only get 13 days of usage or just if I hadn't activated it by July 26?

Since you added the travel pass on June 26, it expires in  30 days.  This means this pass expires on July 25.

So if you start your trip and arrive in the US on July 13 and use your phone, and you got the 14 day travel pass, this pass will still expire July 25, not the full 14 days up to July 17.

I am not sure how long you will be in the US, but this is a key note and if you need the full 14 days, you need to remove the add-on and re-add it closer to your departure date (ideally 1 week prior to your trip)
