Travel pass not activating

Every time I try to purchase a travel pass it sends a messages saying “Koodo: Nice. You have purchased more data to be used until the end of your bill cycle, which ends at 11:59pm on (insert date). Your data is no longer paused!”, but I can’t see any evidence of it getting actually added to my account.
 

I tried to purchase it both before landing and after. I’ve also removed the international roaming and US roaming add-ons, but that hasn’t helped either. I’m currently in Europe, and would appreciate help as soon as possible. Thanks

To confirm, when you check your plan add-ons in Koodo self-serve do you see the travel pass there? And within the Koodo assist chat bot have you tried the Koodo expert messaging as they should be able to check your account and add the pass if it didn’t add correctly. You speak with a rep that way through an asynchronous chat. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/koodo-expert-messaging-faqs

In order to use easy roam and the travel pass you will need the international roaming add ons for anywhere outside of the USA and you need the USA add ons for the US so you will need to add those back. Nope, the travel pass doesn’t show up in the add-ons section.

I asked the koodo assistant a few separate times and it just repeated the prescribed “how to add a travel pass” procedure— when I said that it wasn’t working for me, it didn’t understand.

I added the perks back like you recommended, and Ive tried resetting my phone but nothing really seems to get it to work. Thanks for the help though! Ill try to talk to a live agent. 🥲

Hmm ok. With the travel passes this has actually been an issue lately that Koodo is looking into where they’re not adding properly. It’s good that you put the other add ons back but you will need assistance it seems with getting the pass.

I will flag a rep for you on here as they should be able to help. Just note that response times can vary, so in the meantime I would suggest to continue trying to get a rep via the Koodo expert messaging as I mentioned above. 🙂
