Hi , i lost my phone about a month ago and luckily i had phone protection plan with koodo.Back then i started using my old phone untill koodo send me a new phone.I had to travel for business back then and returned yesterday. Koodo sent me a new phone and its been sitting in my mail box all these days.Would my phone protection plan still be valid if i start using it now ? Would it effect any of my future claims , saying the phone was not used for a long time ?

Hi there,
so as long as you’re still paying for it, you will have device care complete. However, the device that is covered is whichever has your sim card in it and has most recently used air time (call time). So once your sim is in the replacement, make a call and it will be covered once again.
Leaving the device and not using it will not effect future claims. You paid for it, so whatever you do with it is up to you. 🙂👍
