I’m a current user of CTExcel. Their network was provided by Telus. Does that mean I will not receive confirmation SMS when transferring to Koodo, like former Telus or Public customers?

They didn’t mention about CTExel in their FAQ. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/moving-your-number-koodo so you might receive the port message. Anyway, it didn’t hurt to put the old SIM while porting.
