Prime Activation not working

My credit card was expired and it ended my stream + today so i resubscribed to it with my updated Credit card 

 

but amazon automatically resumed my existing yearly prime membership as before it would hold my existing membership and let stream + be the primary method of the membership 

 

when trying to re-link stream + i get this message from amazon

 

“You already have an active Prime membership on this account.

Existing Prime members are ineligible for this offer.”

 

i have like 200+ days left on my annual and i spoke to amazon and they were useless and referred to Koodo.  any help would be appreciated

Koodo mentioned in their help page that : Note: In some circumstances, you may encounter an error “You already have an active Prime membership on this account. Existing Prime members are ineligible for this offer,” because your account needs Prime handled manually. If this occurs, please contact Amazon support for assistance with your existing Prime membership and then return to Self Serve to complete linking your Amazon account.”  https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/stream-plus?

I recommend you contact them again and ask for a more experienced Amazon rep.
