New customer - cannot add free perk

Hi I am a new customer.  I am trying to add a free perk of Unlimited international calling pack.  I added it in in self-service, but it never really registered.  I asked the koodo assistant, it just went dead and unable to connect to a rep.  I tried clearing cache, used a different phone, laptop, incognito mode.  I tried nearly 2 weeks now, nothing works.  Can anyone help? Thanks.

This has been an ongoing issue for the last little bit.

I will flag a rep to assist. Make sure you’re logged into the community using your self serve credentials and they should be able to take a look.

Note that the unlimited long distance perk pack includes calling up to 27 other countries while you’re within Canada. So make sure the country you intend to call is included in the list. The list can be found here at the bottom: Pick Your Perk Plans | Koodo Mobile

Just to supplement, I checked and the “free Pay Per Use International Long Distance add-on” is there already.    The issue is that, whenever I logged in self-service, it allows me to add the free perk, and surpassingly a confirmatory email should arrive.  The email never arrives, and over the past 2 weeks, the self-service keeps asking me to complete the free perk.  It is in a loop.

Hello ​@Firebug the Pay Per Use international Long distance is an add-on that allows you to call internationally at a pay per use rate, it is not a perk. 

We’ve attempted to add the $0 Unlimited Long Distance Pack perk to your line and we’re experiencing the same issue you mentioned. We’ve submitted a request to have our team add the perk on their end.

The perk should be provisioned to your account within 3 business days and you will be able to start using it with your new bill cycle, after it is added. Thank you so much for your patience!
