Long Distance Add-on

Question

I am planning to add-on a monthly long distance to call the USA. It is $3/month and $0.05/minute.

This add-on is per month at the moment I add it Or is it goes per bill cycle.

example,, Add-on January 1 st, 2022 $3, the next month is February 1, 2022 $3

or

Add-on January 1,2022 $3 but my Billing cycle ends in January 11,2022 so Do I have to pay another $3 on January 11,2022? Or only $1.50 per half of month?

I hope someone can answer my question

The add-on gets prorated so if you added it on January 1st and your billing cycle is on the 11th you've got 10 days left or 1/3 of your billing cycle left so you'd pay 1/3 of the add-on or $1 for that portion of the month and then the full $3 for the next month.

It is prorated, so you are only charged according to the number of days the add-on was enabled on your account until the end of your billing cycle. Using the example you provided, since the add-on is $3 per month, you will only be charged around $1 for the service from January 1 to January 11.
