Hi, I ordered AND activated my Europe 30day Travel Pass on June 20th current year when I stepped foot in Europe after 7am on my current time zone (6h time difference so it was June 20th in Canada as well). My plan gives 20gb data + unlimited calls and texts. I tried calling my voicemail today and I get an automated message stating "your international calls are barred, please contact customer service". I had access to my voicemail a week ago. The 30 days from the Travel Pass should last until tomorrow July 19 included, current time zone. I found online that it could be from my phone settings, which I haven't changed recently. Why are my international calls suddenly barred? Is there a place I could find the password to bar/unbar calls in my phone settings (never touched that before, it's 4 unknown digits) to see if that is in fact the problem?

Are you able to try your sim in another device and see if it will work?
I tried making a call on another phone and it said to call 1220, which I did and it answered that the phone number was incomplete. Then, put the sim card back in my phone and I could send texts and make phone calls again. Is it possible that my sim card was blocked from the country of Hungary and now they've unblocked it?
When it is roaming and another carrier’s network is involved, it is hard to say.
Maybe it has nothing to do with inserting the sim into another phone and just the act of taking your sim out and putting it back in re-seated the sim card connections.

I resetted the network settings and restarted my phone : no change. I currently don't have access to the "call barring" settings, I get a message stating that there's an error and to check my sim card and network. My network is working because I have access to my apps. I checked the sim card and it is intact.

So I think my main problem now is that I can't make calls because all calls are barred AND the "barring settings" are currently unavailable because of "an error".

Not sure if this is going to work, but you can give it a try. Can you log in to your Self-Serve portal and try to include the International Voice Roaming add-on to your account?
