I have a Samsung A530W from 2018. Whenever I get a VM I am suppose to get a little icon on my home screen on my phone to show I have a new message. I am not getting any notifications on it and not sure if it is a setting on phone or Koodo. I went through the voice mail prompts and listened to all the notification options but I am am still missing voice mails as the only way I know if there is a message is if I manually hold down the 1 key to dial my voicemail. It is inconvenient for me.

Have you tried to follow the steps in the link to reset the voicemail application on your phone by clearing out the cache and data? https://community.samsung.com/us/conversations/legacy-s-phones/Voicemail-icon-missing/us_2685050

Tried that link i ended up googling my phone and was able to open phone, settings, and voice mail. The notifications for Call Settings was turned off. Should fix now after I turned on.
