Help with 14-day Europe Travel Pass not being added

I added a 14-day Europe Travel Pass to my account and now, upon arriving in Spain, I do not see it being activated. I did receive a message stating “You have purchased more data to be used until the end of your bill cycle, which ends at 11:59 pm 2026-07-10 - 04:00. Your data is no longer paused.”  But there’s no mention of my purchase of the 14-day Europe Travel Pass @ $50.

I checked my account online and did not see where I was billed the $50 so I subscribed A SECOND TIME.  I have again received the same “You have purchased more data ….” message and again my online billing shows no record of paying for the  14-day Europe Travel Pass.

I’ve arrived in Spain and need the Travel Pass while I’m here and do not want to have to pay $18 /day for the next 10 days!

How/where will I be billed for the Travel Pass?
Should it not be listed in my online billing as soon as it’s purchased?
Why is it not listed on my Add-On’s ??

HELP!  …. I’m totally confused and it’s a stressful way to begin a vacation.

Thanks to anyone who can let me know what’s going on with this.

Hi there @fcat_MTL We verified and we were able to add the 14 Day Europe Travel Pass to your number. As the addon was added from today, the travel pass cost will replace the $18 charge triggered today.

Edit: To clarify, there is only one Travel pass on the account that will be charged.

Hi,
Just to confirm, did you add the travel pass by sending text to 7626 and you received a confirmation while staying in Canada? If that is the case, this is a glitch, you should be fine with traveling. I saw few recent reports in the forum.

The pass was added by logging in to my Koodo account online and after accepting to pay $50 I was presented with the following image:

To double check, when you now check your plan add-ons in self serve is it showing the pass there as well after you got the confirmation?

If you see the pass in the add-ons then it has successfully added but you may need to restart your device after a few mins due to the change in add-ons.

Hmm … I just checked the add-ons and it’s there now (see image below).

Can I assume that when I arrive in port (currently on a ship with no mobile service) that it will just work when I next have access to a mobile service?

Also, if I understand the plan details, I should be able to text and call numbers in Canada as well as Europe?  Anyone calling me will incur long distance charges to Canada and be charged for international texting if it’s not included in their plan.

Thank you so much for your help 😀

Yup, where it is now added under your add ons, once you being to roam in one of the applicable countries the pass will begin to be used (when you make port in one of the countries and begin to roam on the network). Just note the 14 days is consecutive and doesn’t pause when you leave port once the pass starts.

you can use data while roaming in the applicable countries. You can call and text back to Canada for free and call and text numbers within the country you’re roaming in. So for example if in Spain, you can call and text Spanish numbers for free but not numbers from France. The same rules apply if you travel to France, French numbers are fine but Spanish numbers would no longer be free.

If someone from Canada calls or texts you, as they’re contacting a Canadian number they would not be charged long distance. Their service provider will treat it as a local call. The person who is affected is the one roaming, but the pass includes Canadian numbers so you would be covered. 🙂

Hi!

I’m having the same issue since landing in Dublin, Ireland.  Prior to departure I purchased a 14-day pass.  I got a text message saying that I added more data (Koodo: Super. Vous avez acheté plus de données à utiliser d'ici la fin de votre cycle de factuation, à 23h59 le 2026-07-10-04:00. La pause sur les données a été supprimée.).  And a screen confirmation of my purchase (see picture below).  It doesn’t show in my add ons.  It did not activate during my layover in Frankfurt nor when I arrived in Dublin.  I’ve done it two more times to no avail.  My cell phone parameters are correct (roaming is on).

Can you start your own post? Then we don't get confused with the original poster.

Can you check your self serve and see " My add-ons"? What do you see there?  Is there " 14 days Europe pass"?
