Europe Travel Pass with a Canada-US plan

Hello,

I have a Canada-US talk, text and data plan, and just added the 14-day Europe Travel Pass for my trip to Europe this week. The description says you can use your plan like you would at home, but then says that you can only call Canadian numbers or local European numbers. What about in my case, where my plan includes calls to US numbers? Can I still make calls to US numbers like I would be able to using my plan while in Canada (but not toll-free numbers as those are clearly not included)?

Hi,
Short answer is no. You can only call US number without any charge if call originates from Canada or US. If you call an US number while traveling in Europe, you would be charged at international calling rate.

I had this exact same question for the 14 day Euro travel pass on a Can-US-Mex plan as my mother-in-law was going to France (just landed today) and this is the just of what the rep told me.

I was told that any time you are roaming "internationally" (so outside of can/us/mex) on either Easy Roam or an Easy Roam Travel Pass, calls to Canadian numbers (and to numbers in that country) are included, but not US/MEX in this scenario.

You need to be in Can/US/Mex to have unlimited calls to Can/US/Mex.

I also suggested this clarification be added to the Can/US/Mex page for anyone who may have this question in the future.
