EU Travel Pass Blocked due to Testing

So I went to go add the eu 14 day pass but I kept getting rejected since it was asking for a promo code I had never received or got a error page when trying to self serve. 1 hour plus phone call with an agent they finally added me manually - thought I was in the clear. But the next day I couldn’t load anything. I was connected to 5g & everything, thought maybe something was wrong with my phone. Restarted it, turned off/on airplane mode. Quick google search lead me to go check my add ons. Lo & behold I see this “TEST Data Block”. So I removed it & was finally able to access data.

This whole ordeal was a little frustrating as I had no issues with getting this plan last year. It’s all resolved now but just making this post so that if anyone else encounters this issue - so they don’t have to struggle the same way I did. Also to the Koodo people - maybe if you’re testing on people’s actual numbers, maybe clear all the configurations before calling it a day?

Thanks for posting this, a TEST Data Block left on a live number is a new one for me. Travel pass glitches have been showing up a lot in the forum lately, usually the pass not appearing under add ons after a self serve confirmation, but I haven't seen that block before.

Since the agent added the pass manually, I would keep an eye on your next bill. In similar threads the reps confirmed the travel pass charge replaces any daily Easy Roam charge triggered the same day, and they credited it where the pass wasn't provisioned properly. Page 3 of your PDF bill is where that shows up.

Let me flag a rep so they can look into why the test configuration was left on your line.

Hello @bigCheese98 Sorry to hear that the situation was less than ideal, to say the least.  We can see that you encountered an error when you tried to add the Travel Pass however, the data block feature was not present when you first tried to add the travel pass. It is possible that it was a backend error due to the multiple transaction attempts. We have not encountered other similar reports. Thank you for letting us know and we are glad that it was resolved.
