I signed up for koodo prepaid for 55GB data for $35, It was mentioned If I have opted for automatic payment  the 55gb will go upto 80 gb data. First month it was fixed by an associate after a long wait on call. Now the automatic payment went through for this month and again its 55GB. What is happening? Should I move to other provider?

In that case you need to request a callback.

if the callback didnt occur previously, you need to schedule another one.

Since it is prepaid, there is not much that can be done on the community

Unfortunately, the reps in the Community have limited assistance with prepaid plans. I would suggest you to schedule a callback through Koodo Assist and speak with a rep about the issue with your data limit. https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/koodoprepaid/koodoprepaid.html

Jumping from 55GB to 80GB is a big bump, and the fact that it needed a manual fix last month typically  points to the extra data coming from a specific promo — or a one-time adjustment the agent applied rather than something built into the base plan that renews on its own. So when the plan auto-renewed this cycle, it came back at the base 55GB.

When you connect with a prepaid agent,  it's worth asking them to confirm two things

1. Exactly which promo you were signed up on for the 80GB, and whether it's a recurring benefit or a one-time bonus — and to note it on the account so it applies every renewal.
2. That auto top-up / pre-authorized payment is actually enrolled on the account — a payment going through automatically isn't always the same as being enrolled, and bonus data is usually tied to that.

That way they can either re-apply the promo properly or tell you exactly what gets you to 80GB going forward, before you decide whether to stay.

I signed up for 55gb and when I opt for automatic payment the data will go upto 80gb and there was no mention about one time data upgrade. I saw this online and went to a store and signed up for this. Anyways I scheduled a call nobody called, it’s been 24 hours now. I don’t understand why I have to go through this, so stupid. I guess the corporate companies wants us to switch to postpaid connections? I thought Bell and Roger were worst and I thinkTelus is also the same. I think I should switch to the small companies.
