confirmation on Europe travel pass

Both my wife and I purchased EUR30 travel passes on the self-service site a few days before we travelled. However, there is no confirming email or record of it anywhere in transactions. I read that the moment we roam in Europe, there will be an entry made on transactions charging us the $60 on the first day of use. However, we made landfall in Paris early on April 2nd, but there is no record of data use on the 2nd or 3rd, nor any entry in add-ons or transactions, even though we have turned on roaming and have been using it extensively. How do I confirm that EUR30 is active so I do not find out after my return that I was charged the daily EasyRoam International rate instead of the EUR30 travel pass rate?

We have looked into it and we can confirm the Travel Pass has been added yesterday and we do see the attempt to add it at the end of March. We have reviewed the pending usage but we dont’ see charges for Easy Roam daily fees, however, in case you notice any charges for these past days once the bill is ready, please let us know here.

Thank you for sharing the screenshots regarding data usage. We have checked and we don’t see any data purchases on your line ending in *25, however we do see the notifications on our end too. We will forward this to the support team for further investigation.

For your wife’s account, if she can start a separate post here on the community (by logging in via self serve), we can also look into it.

Hi ​@Mathman, how did you attempt to add the pass? Did you text EU30PASS to 7626 from the phone number in question? 

We’re not seeing a pass on your line, would you like us to add it for you effective immediately?

I activated it on koodomobile.com here https://www.koodomobile.com/my-account/addons/easyroam/manage/account/QSZi3e7vgzkzuwVFnAzn5w/subscriber/dXJU80k_H_dDWOamXgjLTQ?INTCMP=KMNew_NavMenu_SelfServe_EasyRoam at the end of March. So did my wife. Yes, I need both of us to have this done. We have already enabled roaming on the basis that this is done. How do I get both our accounts properly enabled?

And this is what it shows on my phone! I did not purchase more data. Note that I received the same message on Monday. I think you have a problem with your site.

I just tried to send EU30PASS to 7626, and it appears to have worked. However, this method is not shown on the web site, and I will get charged the daily rate for the last 3 days! At $18/day, that makes it so i pay $60+$18+$18+$18 for the service, and the same for my wife. That’s not right.

Good morning ​@Flo Koodo 

My spouse has let me know she has posted and received a response that there have not been any problems with her account and the travel plan, so she’s all good. Thanks.

I have since noted that on April 2nd and 3rd, I did receive two $18 charges for the daily easy roam fee as well as a $60 fee for the travel plan on April 4th. Do I let you know this, or do I start a new thread to billing and reference this thread to have those charges removed?

@Mathman did the charges for the 2nd and 3rd appear on your most recent bill or did you discover this within self serve?

The charges can be addressed within this thread. If the charges are posted, then a rep like Flo can look into it if you’re logged into the community using the self serve account that the charges are associated with.

If the charges are not yet on your most recent bill, then you have to wait for the bill to be issued before a rep can look at crediting any false charges.
