So I currently have the monthly plan. But I’ll be leaving the country for 15 months then returning. I remember a rep mentioning a plan that ended up being really cheap that I could switch to instead and i could return to my monthly rate and it was cheap too. Please help

Hi there,
Normally, you would go on a seasonal hold plan for up to 6 months. However, you will be gone for longer than that. The rep likely was talking about switching you to a starter plan while you’re away. This would be the cheapest option with Koodo for you to maintain your number while you’re gone. Details can be found in the image.
When you return to Canada, you can just go into self serve and choose another plan that’s much better. However, this can only be done if you own your own phone and by scheduling a call with a rep and have them change you to a starter plan. This can’t be done on your own in self serve. Do you own the device or are you paying it off on a 2yr term?
