are there current plans i can get WITHOUT setting up pre-authorized* payments?
I want a new phone and therefore need a new plan but all of the ones available to choose from say that they are only with pre authorized payments which I refuse to do.
So how do I get a plan?

All of them, but you pay the extra $10. It shouldn’t prevent you from getting the plans. They’d love to tkae the extra $10 to make up for if you use credit cards.
